In our humble opinion - Spotter, why?
Why did we decide to give a lot of space on our platform to aeronautical spotters? Because they are an important part of aviation, in terms of passion, dissemination of culture, art, history and why not even marketing.
More and more on social media, on specialized websites and magazines, there are large spaces dedicated to aeronautical photography which has become a true specialization of this "modern" art form.
The spotters we met and interviewed told us how we combined their passion for flying and aircraft with their passion for photography. Hours waiting for a take-off or an arrival at the airport, trips to go far and see some peculiarities, so cold and lots of friendships.
People no longer read history books, so keeping a photographic trace of our sector is of particular importance and must be helped and consolidated. The attacks of September 11th had to end this tradition for security reasons and for many years it was impossible to even get close to the fence of an airport, but now it is necessary to move forward.
According to "our modest opinion" each airport should have a space to accommodate spotters with good visibility, perhaps warm in winter and sheltered from the sun in summer and make sure that the magical moments of the flight can be fixed in their own beautiful images captured with a lot of professionalism and passion.
In this case, we will temporarily replace our usual happy landing with .... happy shot!!
